Mill Seat Landfill and the Town of Riga, as a landfill business partner, maintain a partnership that provides the Town of Riga with monetary benefits (revenue sharing) in return for the privilege of operating the landfill. The monetary benefit is tied directly to the tons of material disposed at the site. If Mill Seat Landfill were not operating the landfill, the Town of Riga would not receive the benefit of revenue sharing.
