Mill Seat Landfill in conjunction with Monroe County and the Town of Riga maintains an extensive public outreach program. Some of the public outreach programs include: The annual Mill Seat Landfill Open House, booth at the Bergen Park Festival, Corn Hill Festival, Lilac Festival, Ronald McDonald House and more. The goal of the public outreach program is to educate the community on today's very complex solid waste management programs.
